Hey people,

Just to check with you guys.... How often do you guys get someone to startup the car if you are away on vacation or business?

Know the 211 has 2 batteries, let's say on average a 1.5 year old battery? What's a good practice. Anyone experienced coming back a week later to a car that doesn't start?

Hi,

I have at times been away for 3 weeks and my rides start just fine.even in winter.

the problem is tire pressure and the position of the Merc batt in the boot.

If the car cannot start after being left for one week, it could mean the battery is due for change anyway (good to find out), or there is electrical leakage (also good to know).

I've once left the car for 3 weeks and it started with a single crank. Of course, I did not arm the alarm when I left for my holiday - I understand some Conti cars' alarm automatically arms when the doors are locked even with key instead of remote.
