Kel, did axle noise reduce greatly or totally gone? how long its has been since ur axle replacement?

hmmm 2 yrs laio!!

tks...replaced mine on last friday, axle & shaft $480 and labor $170...the noise gone and the best part is at 100km/h the rpm is only at 2700rev use be 3000rev ;D

Guys,my 2700rev joy came to abrupt end, when the very 1st 16v rear axle started to whine on 2nd week of use. After 3 other axle later , I'm back with my original axle :'(

Anyway Sir Benz, did the 16valve axle affect your top speed? i just came back from malacca where i managed to hit 183-185 with 3 ppl n luggage in the car. just wondering if the 16 valve axle will help to get a better top speed.

nope..with 16v axle the top end suffers a bit ...felt the car was slower at high speed.

I've contacted Propel (Jonathan) and they are open this Sat (22 Mar) and next (29 Mar) from 9:30 to 6:30. Shall we go for the group visit on one of these 2 days? I'm available either day but prefer 22 Mar.

Time to shop for those rear axles, steering boxes, grille, etc.... ;D ;D ;D
