You guys been talking abt a drive in to Msia. Here is the opportunity $50 per pax, max 20 cars. This lobang is open to public, if you guys confirm going then I will book 10 cars for Mercs kakis? No more NATO, lai lai

1) How much must I pay?

Adult is $50 each

Children*between 5 and 12 year: $38 each

Children under 5 is free...

You can eat as much as you want at the farm. If I were you, I will skip breakfast and come with an empty stomach.

*

2) How about takeaways? I want to buy some home for my friends.

The prices are in RM (if you want to buy some to take home).

*

a) xo, jin fong ,wan le siang , chai yuan .-$7

B) 101 ,red prawn , D 24.--$4

c) ordinary --$2

3) Where*is*Kangkar Bahru?

Kangkar Bahru is a stone throw from Yong Peng. Yong Peng is about an hour's drive from the Second Link at Tuas.

*

4) My car is a normal saloon. Can I go?

Yes, you can. Any car is OK to go. Motor bike also can.

*

All*other details you need to know is at the attachment.

*

We meet at*6am at the open air car park in front of the Jurong Bird Park.*3rd*July 2011

*

This trip will take us into one of the most authentic durian farm at Kangkar Bahru. It isn’t a tourist farm. So there is nothing fancy here. You will be visiting a real fruit farm without buntings and balloons to welcome you. Bring some insect repellant and umbrellas. Those buzzy insects*can come in squadrns and bad weather can be a nuisance!

*

Please bring:

*

1) Insect repellant. Bring Citronella. Citronella keeps those flies away from your durians*

2) Raincoat or umbrellas

3) Bring old newspaper to protect the floormats/boot of your car

4) Do not stand directly under the durian trees. The fruit may fall on you!

5) Bring water to wash up. Or wet tissues

6) Bring Tupperware if you don't want to bring the durian (whole) home

7) Picnic chairs and table are*good for a comfortable feast

*

Kangkar Bahru is just a stonethrow from the familiar old town of Yong Peng. From the 2nd Link, it is just about an hour's drive to Yong Peng - where we will do a simple breakfast.*As I was saying, if I were you, I will skip breakfast and come to the farm with an empty stomach!

Guys no worries, this one is test water :). It is not difficult to organise a trip to Msia, is the time & committment from you guys. So before anyone asking when there is one trip down to NS, this thread is the answer. Anyway, we will try again to organise another trip, hopefully the response will be better.
