New E- Class coupe - C&C or PI

Hello ,

I am looking to upgrade to a E-Class coupe from C180 CGI ( one year old), any suggestions for the following:

- best price I can get for my old car

- Should i buy from C&C or a PI

- If PI , then suggestion for PI , dont want to wait , looking for an instock car

- what should i negotiate in the package- bet price, addon etc.

IMHO! If U made a decision to buy PI - Best U see the actual car physically before placing your order. U see what U get!

If you're getting from AD, then its straight forward. Get a good price for your C180 and try your luck with as much freebies(Ask Bro Chiaster about his deal) and service vouchers(convert to cash to offset) as possible. The difference in your deal depends on the SE serving you. Some of our Bros here have very good SE. See if they can help...:becky:

As for PI, I agreed totally with you on getting an 'in-stock' car(What you see is what you get! - like what Unker kepiting1sg says). I got my E-cab from a PI too. Its important for you to call as many PIs as possible to check for the available stock. And go personally to each PIs to see the actual ride. 'Cos with the prices they quote, comes with different options. Bear in mind those from U.K do not come with "Comfort Assess" and "Keyless Go", only those from Hong Kong. Once you spotted the right one, copy the VIN and get Bro Camber53 to generate the birthcert to check if the options are all factory fitted.

Everything discuss and agreed upon must be in black&white.

Just go to few PIs and u will know the differences. After that compare these differences with C&C.

Yalor - after doing that got Mrs at home got suck in by the AD Keyless & Electric Rear & side manual blinds causing big lobang in the pocket....muhahaha!

Comfort Assess is BMW name for push button start. Merc one is keyless go. you can also tell by looking at the handles, got chrome= push start, no chrome, normal old school key start..

btw look into gettin command aps. great stuff

Went to test the e coupe 250 yesterday. Wow!! The best car ever driven by me!! The paddle shifts are great! Remind me of my old civic

Fantastic car to own. Just note c and c is peace of mind and keyless but outlook is no Amg and 17 inch rims are very ah pek.

PI is abt 228k with all Amg sport and chio chio looking with 18 inch rims but no keyless. Plus u may not sleep well if car spoil etc..

So... I really don't know. E coupe must be chio chio so PI is great! But to make it chio chio at c and c will cost you at least 266k!

Not too sure which is important? Having a chio PI ride or having a slogan " first class for cars"?

No one in SG can do original retrofit for MB KEYLESS-GO!

When I was shopping for my W212 E250 saloon, despite the PI wonderful

panaroof + amg sport package (950) + $20K+ cheaper than the CnC E250 avantgarde, I went the AD way.

For me & my wife, Keyless Go is a must have for us and off course the rear

electric & rear passenger side blinds made up our minds.

If U wanna go PI, maybe check out Bro 6008 PI - Euro Motors @ 115 Eunos Ave 3 - same building as AutoSpritze.

When the PI has Keyless Go, then likely a lot of other options from the PI without Keyless Go are not present!

For PIs they have AMG Sport Package, Avantgarde, Elegant, Classic models. Heard some PIs "retrofit" Classic or Elegant Model to look like Avantgarde too.

No idea, the buyer shld do their homework. PI bring in Dynamic handling package but got to wait for one bru here to collect his ride then can confirm. As for keyless go, only hearsay.

whereas those that do not have Keyless Go are from "UK"

This also common when buying Audi too!

It will be great to have both AMG Sport Package plus Keyless Go!

As most bro here had seen my ride from pi . AMG package but no keyless go . Never regret taking this ride . But still feel sad abt that keyless thingy . How I wished I could have the best of both combination (ad+pi) . But by then price will be an issue I guess . Anyway I will still say that pi package will be more worth if u engage the right one .

One Bro Mr. M bought his Keyless Go - E250CGI Avantgarde & IIRC it's from Leco Prestige.

It was probably from HK - cos U can see "chinese sticker" on the console.

See the Keyless Go Push Start Button on the steering column???
