if someone can list pros and cons even better ;>

1) Noise level will be higher in the convertible compared to a hard top?

2) Have to protect the roof fabric and oil the mechanisms operating the roof, coupe - no need

3) price differences - convertible more expensive but look CHIO leh

Others..please feel free to add...:becky:

Can't really tell the total diff, but this is my own observation before acquiring my A207...

1. Interior -

i) the back seats are different, Coup can fold down to make extra room for stowage. The back cup holder are different.

ii) between the back seats, the Cab have a center arm rest.

2. Exterior -

i) Cab comes with AirCap, personally don't find this air deflector that effective. And it acts as an insect catcher:doh:, so i never deploy it...

ii) Antenna mounted at different location due to the soft top.

3. If the Cab top is open, it definitely makes it easier for pax behind getting in and out...compare to Coup.

4. Sound insulation for the Cab is almost the same as the other hard tops.

5. Wind turbulence in the front seats is consider ok for me till speed of 90km/hr(Back seats cannot make it, even with AirCap).

6. For Cab, if back pax fasten seatbelt, the back headrest(Integral Head Restraint) will be extended upwards, making viewing thru' the rear mirror almost impossible, especially at night with the Anti-glare on the mirror gets activated.

7. As for car wash, I don't go to the Kiosk, but I guess shldn't be a problem, cos the maintenance is the same as other cars. [maybe Bro Blackmercs can advice]

8. As for wearing of the soft top, can't advice cos ride still new. Hope someone else can advice here...

Vincemerz, come to the GTG on 30th Jan, get a closer look at the two and tell the difference yourself la... I shld be there(Bro Blackmercs too) and bro camber53(E-Coupe) shld be there bah...

Guess you're right with point 2 & 3... Mercs have improve on the acoustics, with the triple layers fabric, the noise level is only a couple of decibel differrent...Heehee, again come experience it this GTG...:becky:

The difference :-

1) hard vs soft & the cost of coupe is slightly cheaper than a cabrio.

2) coupe rear seat is difficult to get in & out due to the rear pillar design. Cabrio won't not hv this issue coz u can pop open the top!!!

3) the looks of both models is sleek & nice but once the cabrio top is down, is priceless!!

4) C&C cabrio comes with Dynamic handling package as a standard but not too whether coupe has it.

Frankly is not for my desire to drive a cabrio I would go for the coupe instead. Probably the next time after the COE saga cools down.

As for the maintain the canopy top, simple steps, shampoo & wash nothing more. Never been to kisok for this drive but shldnt be any issue at all.

Wear off top? Water seepage is the issue. Many ppl ask me abt when heavy rain does it sounds like sink roof noise when I m inside the cabin? The answer is no.

Water leak is possible if you continue to jet spray at one spot from the certain angle...if not even heavy rain, should not be any problem:whistle:

Cabriolet boot space is much smaller than coupe boot space right?

If I'm not wrong, they should be the same. Unless you deploy the boot separator(E-Cab), to house the roof, then the space should be almost halved. ...:car:

:frusty:Slight correction to the boot space - E Coup is 450ltr and E Cab is 390ltr(After deploy separator is 300ltr)
