After fitting a 19" rims, my 1.6 feels like a 1 litre car...any way to make my car feel more responsive?

Ditch the 19"s for lightweight 17"s/18"s if they can clear your brakes and you'll be fine. You probably have too much unsprung weight stemming from your new wheels.

Congratulations on your new wheels! Have you dropped your ride height with springs/coilovers? You need that nice stance! Post some pics of your rims and ride, please! :)

Bro shouldn't have any sound, other then more road noise with the lower profile tires.

Is there any possibility Tat the shocks cant take the weight of the rims?

Dont think so, I have 19" on my ride too without problem. Ddoes it sound when u are carrying passenger behind?

Be it even 18" also can rub against the suspension or brakes if the rims offset is in correct. Hope not!

That's good to know, mate. Just wondering if you are still on stock suspension set-up?

IMHO -

They are not blur - They are experts (both Daniel & his Bro) but at times not very accurate about the actual specs unless U really "ask them"

Few mths back I bought from them a trade in set of amg rims/tyres taken out from a C207 or E250 Coupe.

Offset slightly out but I did my homework to ensure no rubbing before I buy.

The tyres from the C207 can be used on my car but for better wheel diameter accuracy, that set of tyres I replaced with the right size for my ride.

Don't ask, they assume U know....maybe!!!! :becky:

I m not saying your sound are from wrong wheel offset but it's better for U to find out where the sound are actually coming from.

Why not go back to them and ask them to check for you that the sound is not from your wheels rubbing against anything.

If they checked & found the wheels to be alright at least that takes some worries out from there.
