Pls beware of an individual selling car dvr and other accessories.His Nick is Ocoi in sme forums. Had an unpleasant experience when I purchased a dvr(digital video recorder)from him.I wanted to return the faulty device but he refused as he said no warranty.in his posts,warranty is for three months and I had the device for less than 3 months.to add insult to injury,I found out that he charged me 100 dlrs more than another competitor of his.Just be aware of what u getting into when buying from him.

Just to let everyone know my side of the story. This Jas1 person ordered one Customised 3M Nomad carmat for his S280 W220 around 1 month plus. For my orders, once you confirm your order, you cannot cancelled as stated in my ad. I did not collect deposit as its based on trust. He sms me a few times and ask for more discounts. After giving him some discounts, he placed the order by sms around mid night. The next morning, I placed the order to my workshop. As normally it will take 4 working days to dcustomise a carmat but actually its quite fast to cut a mat but a few days to cure the mat as there is adhesive on the gripper strips. The workshop was quite free in the morning and they did the mat first. In the afternoon, Jas1 sms me and says he wants to cancel the mat. His reason is the seller back out from the sale of the S280. My question! How can you order a carmat when you did not even collected the car or confirm that u already have the car? His reason is that he can cancel anytime as its still within one day and I told him 4 working days to deliver and its not his problem. But I already stated in words in my sales thread that as long as you confirm the sales by sms, you cannot cancel. Its a no cancellation policy. Does not matter if its 1 mins after confirmation or 4 hours after confirmation. If its not done, I will cancel the order out of goodwill, but its was already done by the afternoon. You have to be very sure before sending the confirmation order by sms. He did not care about rules. This reflects the person he is. I have no choice but to keep the carmat and pay for the loss myself. By the way, I am still selling that set of customised 3M carmat superior black with boot for S280 W220.

The story does not end here. He went to my authorised workshop in his newly acquired S280 a week later. My guys from the workshop told me that he has a replica carmat in his S280 and lied to me that his sales cancel on him. I did not know the whole story. Either the sales really fall thru or he got another S280 within that week. If its that he got another car from a different seller but he already knew that I have that extra set of carmat which was ordered by him, but he did even bother to ask for the carmat.

For the DVR, he installed it in early August as my workshop kept records. My limited warranty as stated in my ads for this DV004LCD was 3 months of warranty. I was not given any local warranty and this 3 months was given by me. He must read my thread before buying. If you are not satisfied with the 3mths warr anty, you can choose not to buy from me for this product.

He say that I overcharge him for this recorder. I sold him at $300. Other I sold at $320. I got this from my supplier in China and the cost was very high. There are many manufacturers in China doing this model and some are more inferior than others and selling at a cheaper price. I did not get those cheaper ones when I was selling this model. There are other sellers selling cheaper than me but their quality and suppliers are different from me. You cannot compare that. He did not care and threaten to complain about my ethics in the forums. Its his freedom to complain about me but I must let everyone knows, he is not what he is. This person is complicated. Even the workshop people knows about him. He is famous around the geylang workshop areas. Some of them dont even want to do his business as they know what type of person he is.

I have been doing online sales for more than 5 years. There are a two of such customers which I deal before. I came here to let everyone be the judge of this. Please read the sales thread properly before committing yourself to that sale. Once the sales is done, you must look at the warranty terms and conditions. How can we do business if everyone does not follow terms and conditions lay down by the sellers? Please be fair to me too. Thanks for all your time.

This is a total lie.my dvr installed in sep and carmat story is that I told him I will confirm once I have the car.I did not back out.he called me n told me that he had ordered it despite me not confirming yet.the dvr was not replaced as he feels it ecoup his carmat order.I'm not worried about my loss but just to keep members informed.he is now being out priced and thus feeling the heat.anyway good luck Asc

I have record of all your SMS and it's very obvious you given me an order. I have all evidence pointing to you ordering and confirming your order to me. Don't worry about my business as I have been selling well. Many repeat customers. I just want everyone to listen to both sides of the story and not just your lies

I don't think you will expect me to keep all smses that u sent me. Now everyone will know what a big liar you are. Who will want to order a carmat and then blame u for not buying. Come mon! People are not stupid. Somemore it's a previous s class. I will not have ordered if u did not confirm. I selling carmats since 2005. U think I am stupid to order a older car model carmat if it's not confirm. Anyway, there is always competition. I am not worried as I sell the same prices as other sellers. Even the dv004lcd, only even cheaper now then the other seller as I found a cheaper source too. This is surviving competition. I am not worried. But very piss off by your attitude in thinking that u can lie and fool others.

I used to collect deposit when I just started doing this but quite troublesome for customers to transfer deposit, unless the car model is those which is not so common, I will then collect deposit. If not, its more based on trust. So far up to now, only encounter less than 10 persons out of the 4000 plus mats we have done. Some people are really not trustworthy at all. I just earn abit from doing this business, but they have to make life difficult for me. Causing me to be stuck with a carmat which is for a older model and not so common model. Just my luck!
