Engine Oil advise needed...

Hi Gurus of the forum,

Im looking at replacing the engine oil and spark plugs... I had since redline the W212 since I pick up the car 2 weeks ago.. And currently juz hit the 1k mileage...

The thought of what oil they fill this baby with is always bothering me...I hope to get sound advise from the brudders here about the weightage of the oil...

What is recommended, 5W50 or 5W40...???

The RPM is looking very erractic when I first got the car but seems pretty stable now... Odd but true, maybe it likes it hard... Wahahah...

Hi IEM,

go with 5w to 30w ( better rev )

Juz trying to have a more efficient drive... Torque for overtaking...

I say M1 cos uncle is using it and is indeed one of the great fuel

Engine oil lah!

Being using for my Prado 3.0L TDI for the last 7 yrs in Pleasure Island where good mechanics are hard to cum by.

The 3.0L Turbo Diesel has being very obedient since day 1 with the periodical Mobil 1 oil change.

The fuel here are dunno what they contain smlc inside too....hahaha!

I swear by Mobil 1 too used it in my dad's and previous cars....

But I was introduced to Torco Oil while driving my dad's E65 3yrs ago and I love the feel of it...

Quieter and cooler engine... Another Oil thats like it hot & hard... No puns intended... Said to some with watever MPZ and stuff...

So I might juz go stick with Torco...

Oh yes, Torco is good too, i used to use it on my SLK........
