Harman/Kardon Drive+Play

Hi all,

Just received this Harman/Kardon Drive+Play kit as a gift.

Anyone have any experience installing this before? Possible to DIY? If not roughly how much can i expect to pay for labour?

Would like to go to an audio shop with reasonable experience with Mercs and preferably dealing in Harman/Kardon as well...

Any recommendations? I seem to recall someone talking about Pin Liang Enterprises?

Thanks! ;)

edit: Great if the workshop is in North side too! :)

I DIY install on my C. :)

Display on right A beam.

control box behind head unit

iPod in centre console

Controller beside shift stick.

Not too difficult. Just need time & patience and some careful removal of panels.

D&P II will be much easier to install.

Pin Liang can install for u. think labour is ard $150.

Roughly how long did you take to do it?

$150!!! I was expecting something in the region of $50-$100...

Maybe i will try DIYing it first, did you buy the additional wired FM transmitter too?

It took me abt 2hrs due to indecisiveness... like how to run the wires.

I din use the fm transmitter. Just went straight for aux in. Had to tap a power source to power the thingy.

If u always diy install stuff, then no problem else can be quite challenging.

Give Pin Liang a phone call & ask them to quote for labour. Think it may be cheaper.. way too long back 2yrs+
