Hi there,

I am looking around for a used SLK 200 and came across some advertisement with the "ML" stated and some don't. Wants to know what this "ML" stands for.

Also saw a 2005 SLK 200 with front sensor so is this an add-on option?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks and that is what I thought so too but to what level of trims are available, say for year 2005 to 2007? I only know of the AMG version and the other as the standard model. Need to do more homework when getting one in the market and will try to understand more of this "ML" thing but the internet is not giving much or no details, unfortunately.

Not really bro. I was trying to figure these out as well. For E Class (W211), they call the earlier batch "ML" (which has AVG or Elegance etc) but the later batch they call it "K". For C Class (W203), the 2004-06's batch is ML (whether Avand gard or Elegance model), then the last batch before W204 they call it SP (which in this case, was the sports edition)

Will be curious to find out what the actual ML stand for as well :-)
