I didn't signed up with the MB Driving experience since i have done so in 2008. Really enjoyed myself then.

Any feedback to this year's?

:becky: the 360 spin with the ESP off was fun... get to ride with some aussie instructors on the C63 and E63 spinning around the circuit...very exciting although din get to drive it ourselves...:whistle:

just came back from penang.... while driving heading south, saw the MB convoy of dont know how many cars, driving up north.... 3 escort E class with flashing amber lights on the roof.... + malaysian traffic police escorting the convoy.... looks fun.

Yup. Typing this reply at Hard Rock Hotel. Its really fun and experiencing. Travelling 140-180km/h in the convoy (Might be slow to some bros here).. but being in a convoy situation of 50 Cars, i think quite fast liao...hehe

When reached Penang due to traffic condition, the Malaysia TP, escorted us from the Toll to our dinner place then to our hotel. Really like those VVIP where they cleared the entire lane and ask us to drive behind them with our hazard light on. Its like those VIP at IMF convoy in Singapore. Really pleased & impressed when we heard of such treatment.

Food wise, i think its fairly good. Lunch & Dinner minimum 6-8 courses. Dun expect Lobster..haha

PitCrew Events - The Organiser of this event really done a good job so far.

Hope to see more bros here to join in the next coming getaway.. haha

Must have collected "track fee" beforehand, then can "legally" go at 180 km/h.

For sure.... the fees paid for the trip already included "track fee" .... anyway, i can imagine, it's really nice to be escorted in a long convoy like this... especially in Penang where the traffic is bad (you'd be lucky if you can do more than 60km/h.... norm is 40km/h)... feels like a some celebs i bet.... for thsi alone, i guess its worth the fees they charge already.

Anyway, i was issued traffic summon for speeding .... was caught at 184km/h. But the police was so polite that i was wondering if he was issuing me summon or giving me courtesy driving award. Paid RM300 for the summon at Penang Police HQ.

Btw, i managed to hit highest speed of only 206km/h .... due to traffic on the highway and lack of pony in my humble C180K BE, ... that's all i can achieve. ... not full throttle yet. Maybe next trip i'll try if i can hit the officially declared max speed of 223km/h.

On the way back i was "forced" to keep within 120km/h on cruise control as i dont want to get another ticket..... i almost doze off.
