Went to see see smell smell the new

W212 Avantgarde AMG Sport with Panaroof

was quoted by 1 PI $198,888 with 2 max guranteed COE bids.

Told has to pay C&C $500 for adoption & 2 yrs warranty.

Full AMG Bodykit, twin exhaust, parktronic front & rear

18" AMG Rims with staggered tyre sizes.

I want some comments & or advice to above quote pls!

One word BUY!! Got Cabro? We buy together got good brudder to brudder pricing? Go for adoption thingy! But all repairs u got to pay in advance etc Also u will be treated as 2nd class citizen during servicing!! Tml am going to view e cabrio, wanna join me?

Not only 2nd class citizen -told also each time C&C hook up the Diagnostic is $500....this one call buy 1st pay later........kakaka!

That ride I saw also cums with original paddle shift...wet man!

Good morning kepiting1sg,

i like the W212 and is contemplating of changing my ride too. Been to C&C for test drive and also talked to the sales guy about servicing PI car. I was told not only priority is given to AD cars, he say even spare parts for PI cars must endure the long wait..Well, of course must take their words with a pinch of salt.

May i know how does the $500 C&C diagnostic package work?

$198K seems like a pretty good deal with the options thrown on. Car to share which PI and their assigned service workshop? (can PM me details?)

I am driving a 2004 PI E211, recently having the SBC break problem, was told by outside workshop that this is under Merc worldwide warranty and C&C workshop has to take up the warranty repair. It was done finally, but still got to pay $768 for Old, testing etc... Not sure whether they charge the C&C car for similar problem or not?

I then chat with the service adviser, was told that C&C will not repair any PI cars except for this special problem only.

I beleive if there is any world wide recall, C&C will still be the authorized workshop to do the rectification, other than that, they will not repair PI cars. Therefore if we buy PI cars, be prepared to be serviced by outside workshop, but then they are as good and better pricing, not sure of any failures that must be repaired by C&C, which I don't think so.

The PI I approached told me their cars is a 2 years warranty or 40k km from C & C after registration fee of $500 with C & C.

Servicing will be done by C & C.

Why not drop by to Eurocars @ 115 Eunos Ave 3 to ask them & clarify.

Dun forget C & C is the official agent but Daimler Singapore is representing

the Manufacturer.

Could have been able to comment and not heresay when I was about to sign up the PI E250 AMG Sport Package @ Eurocars for $201,000 cash no loan! With loans will be $3,500 less!

BTW I would not commit such sum of money if it was heresay!

C & C last minute called me up & gimme an offer for my 3+ mths old ride which I couldn't refuse! :whistle:

My used C & C W124 has never been to C & C!

My W203 from C & C - I serviced at C & C and out of warranty repairs at MBM.

My FL W211 though under C & C warranty, I serviced it at MBM.

IMHO, Workshops like MBM can take good care of Merc.

If U are worried that outside "reputable workshops" cannot repair Mercs, then it's better for U to go to the AD way and have good sleep at nite!

My new ride from C & C - 1st servicing is @ 15,000km and I planned to do my 1st serving at 6 mths or 5000km with MBM.

After nearly 7 mths with 2 Olympic minus 1 ring has been a luv & hate relationship. The verdict -

Beautiful, sleek, glam, powDerful, quick, corner on rails, new tech but still somehow lup & clamouring for IMHO the ugly duckling new E.

So has to release the pend up orgasm.....kakakaka!

The PI AMG Sport has almost everything I wanted especially the kit, brakes, pana roof, RL exhausts, 3 spokes steering, paddle shifts & easily $40+K cheaper than C & C except BUT I cannot "live" without keyless or the dark Ashwood.

C & C ride was tempting with small goodies like collapsible 10 kg boot tray, rear electric blind, rear side window blinds and front/back Parktronic with Parking guidance, iPod/usb/aux input kid, power bootlid closing.

Wanted to sign the PI E250 AMG Sport BUT CO also didn't like "sporting amg look" and have not recover from the trauma of the 1st PI ride the as U put it the sea sick choppy car like SUV....muhahahaha!

We must meet 1 of these days to lim kopi that we spoke abt a decade ago!!!!

the only other "corner on rail" rant i hear comes from Ah-Seng farmeeli brethen le ... pardon me but apart from the R8 (esp Spyder), Olumpek-1 looks droolability at the first glance but over-time, does not really grows on you ... i toyed with the TT but now losing 'steam' ...

i still think the W211 is still one of the best looking car around hence have no doubt over the E-series ... the only sore point for the W212 is the backside la ... looks too much like same surgeon from Korea le .... maybe in time .... in time .... go for niptuck ?

but the specs u listed makes me drool le .. but no worlies la ... sure shiokadoo one ... with the PI specs, I would have gone for the coupe ... befit the sporty look ...

when yr new 'Eeeee' gonna lose the top (wink-wink) ... ?
