I am driving the new e calss 250 cgi... Just wondering if there is any LTA approval exhaust for this model

I think our car model still new... Hard to find LTA approved ones unless someone organise a Group Buy and with enough numbers, the distributor might consider getting the batch of aftermarket exhausts approved.

Anyway, are you looking for better performance or just aesthetics in the aftermarket exhaust? Think there won't be much improvement in performance just by changing the exhaust system. Any power gains are usually over hyped. :bounce:

Carlsson should have a system for your car soon. The exhaust systems are currently undergoing certification.

Really? Great, will certainly look forward to it. Will try to join you guys at Carlsson/Regis Motors tomorrow. :becky:

Changing of exhaust alone dosent gives hp gain.

Very very true... don't believe aftermarket exhaust manufacturers claims. I changed exhausts for every single one of my previous rides before but I've never once really experienced power increase. I've tried rear silencer change alone - confirmed no difference in terms of performance. I've tried catback systems - exhaust note quite good but still no improvement. I've even tried changing header (exhaust manifold), removing the cat and changing the rear silencer - still no noticeable gain unless you do an ECU tuning.

In short, there is no shortcut i.e simple bolt-on power gains. You have to do more to get decent power increase.

If you are simply going for aesthetics, go ahead cos it gives you a few "visual BHP" :becky: Not forgetting, it'll sound better too.
