Change car plate light to white??

Hi, I'm having a w203, anyone have any idea how to change the car plate light to white colour?

- I tried the 12v10w blue bulb (original is 12v5w), it was simply too hot and it nearly melted the cover of the bulb.

- I also tried LED bulbs, it would just flash twice every like 5 secs. Wouldn't light up.

I saw some other c class had white car plate light. I also want.

Also, do ya'all know of any place or any one selling used amg sport rims? I'm currently using this 17":

I prefer the 18" double spoke amg rims.

Pls be noted that W203 wheels cannot be fitted onto W211. The lugs size are different.

yo eugene, eurosiamotor is selling a set og 18 amg lookalike on sg auctions yahoo com for only 800. they r nice people. talk to them. fyi I also have a set of 18. v nice after ur installation.

W209 wheels also cannot fit in W211.
