hi guys, if i may sound abit sua ku, pardon my ignorance...i just discovered y'day that i can release my brake completely (w/o handbrake brake also) on the steep slope at the basement car park of takashimaya queuing to get out to the main road...enjoying this new feature...no fear of sliding down anymore...are u guys aware?...:whistle:

Yup, hill-assist feature...

Be sure to chomp down on your brake slightly harder before you release your foot though...

Anyway, my previous beemer also has this "feature" - it won't roll back on a slope even though they did not specify that there was such a feature :)

Bro, do you know that the E Class W211 has this feature called "SBC" Sensotronic Brake Control" , when stop you depress the brake padel hard again after stopping then the car would be on hold , i.e. SBC is activated you can see on the dash.... this helps when you are stopping at traffic lights , on a higher angle slope when the traffic in front is hold up..... I think Hill Assist can only work up to certain angle/gradient and certainly doesn't work down slope...
