Bring Engine Oil for Servicing

My 10k servicing will be due soon. Question is can we bring our own engine oil? I have friends that brought their own engine oil to C&C for servicing (still under warranty), however the service centre said cannot.

So is the answer yes or no?

I now bring my 2006 W211 to MBM for servicing now (after end of warranty/free service period with C&C) and also bring along my own engine oil and oil filter. No problems with MBM on bringing your own consumable supplies/parts. You pay for the labor charges cost only. Giant had engine oil sales recently (Shell Helix Ultra 4 litres for S$49.95; MB 229.5 spec oil). Guess who loaded up and bought cases of it? cheers, Choong
