I've seen quite a few of this year new E class with the tag CGI , does it mean it's using diesel ?

But if it's using diesel , I believe the road tax would be at around 3 times compare to petrol right ?

From what I uderstand is that although diesel engine compression rate is higher .... But it's also alot noisy compare to a petrol one. Then under what circumstances would someone get a diesel benz.....when Benz is about comfort ???

Pardon me if my question is too silly or noob.....

I'm driving the e200 cgi . It's a petrol direct-injection system -which they say is very fuel efficient.

Anyway, the car is very quiet and don't rattle so much at highway speed as compared to the C200 which I test drove the other time.

Now, just need to ask the salesman why my car dont smell new.

Oh also need to ask why the parktronic only sounds beep when it is barely 5cm away from the wall.. and everytime i hit the back kerb and it never sound unlike my past few rides which will have alerts that is beeping more rapidly as you approach the back kerb.
