After watching, simply amazed over how our W124s had been legendarily "over-engineered" (as quoting Mercedes chairman). These are the links (there are 4 parts to this video):

then why is my tank in hospital at least once every 2 months ??

:death:

hmmm... thats a tricky question. My tank was rebuild and have never seen the doc (other then for normal oil change and regular servicing)

Maybe what you need is a different hospital? Im guessing the doc might not be good?

Just a guess...

I wonder how the W211 E class would fare....hmm... car should be better and better as technology improves right??

W211 will fare worse

trust me ... i hv 2 uncles whom each have one

1. American "6 Sigma Quality" control

2. Crumple zones are shock absorbing, not Hard vs Hard

3. thin sheet metals make for weight savings which gives better FC

yeap !

trying to think positive !!

got a couple of bros here whom are also offering to sell me theirs .. and they seem like they take care of their cars more than me/my prev owners

but ... the "S" side is pulling me very strongly at the same time as well

so all options are on the table for now
