Question for OPC cars

Dear All,

A relative of mine is planning to get a OPC car, so i am helping him to find out whether OPC has any PARF benefit during time of deregistration just like normal plate car? According to the SE, OPC does not have this benefit because the guberment already deduct $17K..

Hi Eric,

exactly same as normal car except for the 17k reduce cause it is a 7pm to 7am car on weekdays....Sat 3pm till Monday morning 7am

Insurance also abit lower

can top up later to upgrade to black plate

the 17k rebate is only applicable if your OMV + something is greater than a certain amount. cant remember. below that you dont get the full 17k rebate. So im not sure about forte.
