W124 E200 Throttle

Hi guys, my 1994 w124 throttle is very hard. It takes alot of foot power to step on the throttle. Is this normal? Cause my wife has problems stepping on it(too hard). Can it be solved? Do i need to change anything? Can it be adjusted? Can it be smoother and lighter to step(like the new E-Class models)? :devil2:

u need to get hold of a new throttle cable bush/retainer first and remove the throttle cable from the throttle body and pull out the cable that is stuck behind the engine bay area and route it to the front
