Wood trims and carbon fibre have totally different looks. Personally I prefer wood as it gives a nice expensive look. Carbon fibre on the other hand seem too modern and plastiky for me. They now have carbon fibre (plastic?) in fake wood, yuk. Check out the prices as the latter may cost much more! :swduel:

Yes, I prefer as well. Only problem is that the wood panelling loses it's shine over time. Anyone knows where to get it revarnished? What is the price like? Mine is the portion near the driver area. Thanks

mmmmm, the shine should not fade. Never had this problem on all my wood trims over the years. Anyway, I think any carpenter can strip and re varnish the wood at low cost.

Personally prefer wood as well if it was burr walnut but mine's not.. Am also looking into ways of maybe getting it done in 'bird eye maple'.. Btw, there's quite a few varieties for the material colour now.. Sourced this guy in Yishun doing this and actually have done my tail light tinting with him before.. Does a decent job..
