My E250 W212 makes strange noise when accelerating like helicopter fan noise

I bought E250 W212 (2010) makes strange noise when accelerating like helicopter fan noise (dug dug dug) like a sluggish fan. Not sure from where that sound is coming. It is more prominent when accelerating from 20kph to 60kph. After that it reduces.

Any suggestions.

Hi ya im driving a 2010 E250 w212  as well and experiencing the same sound.. Wonder any bros wif same xperience noe wat can be done do rectify?

Cam gears? have you got them changed? Usually high mileage need to change them.
