MERC E220D ...To buy or...?

Recommended Posts

Hi All!,

I would like to seek the advice of the wise old birds here...there's a used E220D i'm looking at..my questions are as follows:

-what are the common major issues for a 5 year old E220D (W213)?

-Is a noisy/rough door hinge a major (expensive repair)?

-Is it a wise long term choice since the govt has announced that they wont be registering Diesel cars come 2025?

Any feedback or sharing is appreciated!

No idea bro. But I did just get a brand new 2021 e220d. So far so good. Efficient and quiet on the inside.

But yeah, looking to see if any e220d owners of old can share.

I am facing some weird annoying electronic issues, it keeps saying the rear indicator is off even when its working perfectly sometimes. But other than that all good.

Mine is a PI.
