Hi Guys and gals,

Anyone know whether we can convert an older model (>4years) S300 from Singapore right hand drive, to left hand drive?

How about BMW730?

OT: That means it is possible to drive a LHD car in Singapore? wow.

No, he wants to convert a RHD car to a LHD car.

To the OP: Don't bother, just buy a LHD model, the price of conversion is prohibitively expensive. Even the 8C, F-40, F-50, Enzo and Veyron owners in SG haven't done this.

Yeah but only if you're a diplomat or related to one. Even TG's Enzo's stuck at home most of the time.

Hi guys,

Yes. I am going to export it, or more accurately bring my car along with me to a LHD country.

However, I heard that it is difficult to convert the more luxurious S300 and 730s as there are alot of electronics parts.

But if someone can make some arrangements, I am going for it.

Reg,

BTW, uncle kepiting u r most right.

Those super cars are too expensive to modify and by the time you are finished, it will look bad. Also most of them comes only in euro LHD, so it is not designed for RHD market.

Mercs and BMWs have central body system I was told by a scrao car dealer. They are designed so that they can be fitted LHD or RHD...like most Jap mass production cars. However, the modern electronic system might be a headache as it goes all the way from the dashboard to the rear of the car. You do need a expert to line it.

However, if I do my calculations properly, it might be a worthwhile.

Randy, if you can pull some strings and get some contacts in, it will be most helpful. Dont mind ping me with your mobile and i buy you kopi-o.
