Turn on Speedometer Light without turning on head-lights - C180 (W204)

Is it possible to turn on the speedometer light without turning on the head-lights?? My previous ride speedometer light is always on even tough the head-light is set to off.

For new C-180 can set the speedometer light to always on??

sorry, i believe the "always lit" dashboard is only for S class, CL class and SL class...

i prefer it to have the saab night vision function, so can disable all the non important stuff like rev counter and petrol and just lit the speedo part... the rest is kinda irritating when i want a dim interior...

Wow how did you know about the SL's dashboard? I don't even know that for sure! I THINK it's always auto lit up, which could explain how I've managed to drive around without turning on my lights a few times already. I know the S class is always lit up because the display is digital. Unfortunately, I can't check until June, but I'm very sure the SL's digital speed display is always lit up, not sure about the actual dials.

I think it should be quite easy to connect it to make it always on. Why didnt they just let us enable configure ourselves as one of the functions.

i just went to try, that one you are talking about is the driving lights settings on for all exterior lights function right?? there is no setting for perm interior lights on, is there??

Cant really remember where, there is this which you can set the dimmer too.
