Excess Refund by C&C

I got myself a c200 recently and should be collecting the car in a couple of weeks. Question I have is there is over 10k that C&C will be refunding to me (I have decided to use this amount to invest in stks rather than paying upfront) and I asked the SE how this amount will be refunded to me. What surprised me was he told me that C&C would most likely get me a cheque but at least 2 weeks AFTER I collect the car. Comments anyone?? Is this considered normal??

Not normal. I got my excess COE refund after 1 month.

anyone tried asking and insisting for a post-dated cheque?? no guarantees nowadays....look at GM, once an automobile giant; now near to bankruptcy.... :2guns:
