Yellow light below rear view mirror always on when head-lights on

Dear Bros,

I just found out on the new C-180 (W204) that there is a small yellow light right below the rear view mirror that always turn on by itself whenever i switch on the head-lights. (I am not referring to the map reading white light)

I just noticed it tonight!!....

Is this yellow light always on??

bro, if i'm not wrong, its like courtesy/ambience lights. check inside the door handle area, foot area all should have.

When the car is on, it is always on. The compartment in front of the gear stick there also have orange led lights.
