W211 New or refurb Torque converter

A new and a refurb torque converter difference is abt 1K+. which would you choose?

Depend who did the refurb.

For better sleep ..... go for the new one.

Dun bother with the refurb torque convertor. I made the mistake last year and it wasted alot of my time and effort and ended up getting a new one instead. 

was later told that nobody in SG can do a proper refurb torque convertor for Merc.
