Buying Advice: C Sedan vs 2015 E Coupe

Hey guys, I'm looking to purchase either an E Coupe or a C Sedan. Do these look like good deals? Also listed my personal thoughts on the two vehicles.

Will I have a more difficult time selling the E Coupe? I'm also wondering why the C Class sedans don't change hands as fast as I thought in SGCarMart, compared to the BMWs of the same price range.

E Coupe

Pros

- Looks

- Drive a 2 door before I start a family

Cons

- More difficult for resale?

- Not in the exact color combination I want (red seats)

- Price will drop in April when 2017 E Coupe is released

C250 AMG Line

IMHO, neither will move as quickly as the bread and butter C 180 or C200 and E200/250.. both are more rare specialities cars... Is the C250 from South Africa?

I see.. yeah maybe that's why it's been stuck on the market for so long. I'm not too sure about the C250's origin..

On a separate note, if I buy this E200 Coupe (it doesn't have electric seats) - will I have a tough time trading it in to C&C in the future?

If it doesn't come from them you won't get any special treatment so it's better if you sold it off later on by yourself..

IMHO... E coupe are niche market.... you will buy expensive because dealer will say special car... charge premium... when you sell cheap because dealers will say difficult to dispose.... do your sums.... as long as you are ready to lose 25k min on depreciation...  But do remember the New E coupe is already on its way out this year... Do consider properly....

I am undecided to sell or keep my 1993 W124,200E. COE end 30 Apr 2019.   Just changed the aircon condenser and engine belt. The Car is in good condition, I am thinking if any one offer 17K I will sell it away, my family just bought a hybrid last month.

If I keep it, do you think it will have any trouble in future any one driving this car can advise?

Gonna view a couple of cars this week, mostly C180s & C200s. Will consider a E Coupe if I manage to nego a <16k depre.

Finally booked a.. C200 Coupe AMG Line from C&C. Long wait but I think it'd be worth it!
