All merc owners and guest are each given an original Key leather holder.

its very beautiful, much better then those fake ons selling in ebay.

Just got them yesterday!

Pro

1. Fit better & U dun see the bulge on the side.

2. Has the right orientation - key to logo

3. Leather is OK

Con

4. The pin holding the key is too long - I got my guys at my work place to grind it shorter and re-tap the internal threads to fit.

5. No button to keep the key from sliding out - it's OK when U have a shorter pin after U rework it.

So I dun think many of U will want to do number 4 i.e to grind & re-tap the threads to fit. :2guns:

Therefore I dun recommend U guys to buy it!

Probably better go & get the originals! :punk1:

Problem is: Where to buy the originals???

BTW, after you have shorten the pin, what is the overall length (from head to head after screwing in)? Cos the pins that came with the pouch I bought is too short, and so now me using bimmer pin.

Probably U will able to buy the originals from MB Boutiques @ C & C Service Centres

The pin after I shortened is 17.6 mm in length measured internally head to head. (I didn't measure when I ground them to fit - I just measured them 5 mins ago with my dig. vernier ;D)

The pin with the AMG logo pouch is 15.0 mm measured internally head to head.

I think this pouch is slightly longer than the key right? If it is, I think I've seen it at dept stores before. Didn't get it cos I wanted something that is of the same length.

Yes, it is longer than the key but it is a snug fit when it is buttoned up.

I do not remove the key thereafter as I would rely solely on the keyless entry feature to access/start the car.

There is a shorter version made of a different material which I will try to take a pic later.

Digging up an old thread.

The black stickers on the tail lights start to form bubbles and water was trapped inside. It look really unsightly that I decided to peel part of them off to give a 'new' look'.

IMHO,

For Keyless, the Goldlion Key Pouch!

It's rectangular in shape the key gam gam fit the key into it.

It's not a key holder but just a very very nice looking pouch!
