CF Rim Caps & Key Pouch from Ebay

Hi,

I've bought these stuffs from ebay, and they look kindof nice.

For all who are interested

CF Rim Caps: Quality looks ok to me. They look nicer on the car then in the pictures.

Key Pouch: Quality so so, the merc logo looks fake. But the dimenions is very fitting and is just nice for the key.

I've asked the sticker shop this morning, but they quoted me a ridiculous price to wrap up the greyish parts. Think I'll go ebay and buy one in soon...

Getting someone to powdercoat it black here in Singapore.. mmm.. will ask around to see who can do it. Just grab a spare grill, get the powercoater to sandblast/prep surface then get it dipped. Hehe talk damn easy hor.

Oh, I've darkened my tail lights at gen concepts today as well: I'm happy with it. Relatively cheap consider the amount of time and skill they spent on it

I think too much trouble to get it powder coated, will be much easier to buy from ebay, but not sure whether the quality good or not.. will research and see how...

I bought 2 of this key pouches for my W203 from someone selling in this forum sometime back for S$20+ each

One with Merc logo and another with AMG logo. They do fit well & protect the keys from scratches.

They are off course not Merc. originals. :death:

They seems to fit well with the older Merc keys but not the new chrome trim keys.

U can see that your key buttons are upside down to the logo and 1 side of the

chrome trim from the key bulging out from the pouch while, while there some hollow space inside the pouch rite? ;D

I found this out when I try to fit the pouch to my E200K keys...hehehehe! :2guns:

I just ordered 2 of this key pouches from eBay for my E200K keys and the orientation & fitting looks rite.

They are not here yet!

Hope they are up to my expectations! :pray:

Anyway I strike a bargain with the seller (I m an eBay veteran with >500 buys...since Nov 2000....heheheh)

My key pouch is kindof tight. I've checked and found that the connecting pin is too short. Then I took out the old pin from my bmw key pouch which is longer and use it on my key pouch now. It's much better now and the key can move freely. Only problem is, merc logo pouch with a pin that says bmw! Ha ha......

Dunno why c&c never give these pouches when we collect the car. It's standard in pml that every bmw car comes with 2 pouches. Asked my se before but she say cycle don't have them...

I attended the C-Class Boys Night Out at the Red Dot Museum last year, when Liverpool beat Manyoo 2-1 ;D The door gift was a Mercedez key pouch. Our key fits perfectly, only that its brown, and not matching my car leather. Perhaps you can ask your SE if he has any to spare.

i didn't get any pouches from bmw when i collected my 5 series... =(

Your pouch looks very similar to the one I have now, should be the same size, just that I didn't order the AMG logo one.

my key already riddled with small holes and has battle scars from fighting with my house keys... kinda late to buy some "protection" for it now...

maybe ya can pm me ur SE contact? my SE quit pml liao and i found some of them very unprofessional indeed.

My PML SE professionalism is so so only, but not that bad afterall. Overall, I'm happier with the Cycle SE, professionalism is top notch!
