Kok Sound when driving over potholes and clicking sound over humps

Dear Merc bros,

 

As mentioned above, is this suspension issue or any specific parts that need to change? Workshop said its suspension but cornering and straight line driving stability no issue at all.. Only when travelling at speeds above 40km/h and suddenly hit a pothole then will get a jarring "kok' sound.

Hi,

Suspension is a very general term, it could be strut, lower control arm, upper control arm, sway bar link, sway bar etc..

An experienced Mechanic should be able to diagnose and jack up the car to check the issues.

The Usuall suspect for knocking noise for w204 is the sway bar link, but not always the case .. visually once car is jack up, you should be able to identify which bush is worn out
