My Slk tells me it is due for service B in another 2k, but it has been 10k since my last service. Is merc service interval 12k or did C&C set it wrongly last service? Anyone has any experience of this before?

i think it is not due to how many kms, but the way u drive ur car.

if u have been a little light footed and easy on the brakes, probably ur car senses that it doesn't need to go for check up so soon.

my 2 cents from a noobie.

i know for my bmw when i over used the brakes for a series of events "the car asked" me to go in for servicing early.

when i brought my key in the service advisor told me that just the brakes need to be changed.. he said the car will tell u when its time for servicing even though it isn't regular - so i believe merc does the same...
