Used B170/200

Hi Guys, I'm new here. Having the intention to get an used B170/200 for the family. Looking at a few 2yr+ cars for the sale in the market now. Price around $70+. Reasonable? My greatest reservation now is the servicing coming up to 3 years for a second hand car. I've never driven a merc before. Would the servicing and spare parts cost be exorbitant? Can anyone share with me the experience of having to replace any parts of the car coming to 3 yrs and the associated costs? Also is it reliable to have the car evaluated by STA? Thanks a lot.
