Accordia Tube Faulty_Engine Lost Power

Hi C180 owners

I have a recent issue with this Accordion Tube and it seems like there is a deficiency on the plastic material used to made this tube.

I have it replaced for 3 times and the mechanics has given up and advice me to go to Merc Service Centre.

Apparently I have a engine lost of power and was diagnostic of a booster flap fault and it was replaced along with the Accordion tube.

Less than a week, the Accordion Tube broke and I was advice to change my engine mounting as it was suspected to be the cause of the broken Accordion tube.

Within the next few days, the Accordion Tube broke again.

With this broken Accordion Tube, the engine basically lose power and the car couldn't even catch up with a Suzuki Swift even though I have floored the accelerator.

Of course the engine fault lights up on the dash board.

Does anybody come across this issue?

The Mechanics told me that he has recently made quite a few replacement on this Tube and he foresee that the owners may come back to him again with a broken tube.

Would appreciate some advice on this.

Is there any 3rd party made Accordion Tube? The one that was replaced is made of some kind plastic and I was told that the previous stocks were made of "cloths"...something more rigid???

Thanks
