Aftermarket keyless installation

Hi just collected my GLA180 last week and realized much to my dismay that it doesn't come with built in keyless feature. This is a major bummer for me and I was just wondering if there are aftermarket options I can explore and whether there are any reliable workshops that do such installations. Advice and recommendations much appreciated cheers

Original Mercedes keyless can only be factory fitted, can't be done after. Only option is to install aftermarket third party keyless but I highly recommend against it.

Recommendations: Live without keyless.

Advise: Check the options list before signing on the dotted line in future.

keyless entry is an impt feature for me (used to it liao) - next time better check carefully and make sure the SE state all the parts out

TS must be feeling very bad now that he knows Keyless Go is a factory install with no aftermarket possibilities.

My Chinese isn't very good but it looks to me like someone created an aftermarket system that looks like the original system. Based on the photos on what's included, doesn't seem to come with the keyless door handles.

IMHO, stay away from aftermarket security systems. Don't compromise the original.

I also think not safe to buy. No review at all and the price is not cheap as well.

Agree don't go and screwed up your original electronics without knowing what you are doing.

From the purchase options offered in the above site, it has keyless start as well as keyless entry options.

Also the buyers' feedback seem to be very positive.

If you do a search in Chinese websites, you can also find many testimonials of Merc owners in China who have successfully retrofitted OEM versions of keyless entry for various Merc classes. Apart from parts and additional wiring, I believe coding may also be required. However, no modification required to existing components or wiring.

Would like to hear the views of our esteemed experts/site sponsors on this retrofit.
