2008 B200 Audio Panel

Recommended Posts

Dear Bro, Sis,

Anyone has any ICE Installer recommendation to change B200 audio to a Pioneer 2DIN audio systems?

My current ride is installed with 2DIN Pioneer head unit and i would like to install into B200 audio panel.

Would appreciate if anyone could recommend a good installer.

Thank you in advance.

Bro, u surely can remove the audio 20 from your W245.

But the challenge is once the panel is remove how u going to install your standard 2din pioneer ? I doubt u can find any panel adapter to fill up the big hole.

If u dun like the quality of audio 20, perhaps u may want to try enhancing with an amp/sound processor and better speakers.

but if u really into SQ and think your pioneer is more superior than the audio 20, perhaps u can approach an ICE installer to mount it somewhere else and control using remote .. since u shld be mainly playing good quality CD on it and shldnt be fiddling much on it.

i do know a guy who installed a high end Alpine on top of his factory installed HU ... best of both world !

Hi Bro Den,

Thank you for the suggestions.

So much so for the options to change the HU.

I agree with you that once the panel is changed to Pioneer, there could be a big gap to be filled.

If the gap is not filled with properly and still could be seen, then it will look awful.

I think, i better keep it as it is for the next 33 months.

Once again, thank you so much for the advice.

Appreciated.
