Care for soft top

Hi All,

Can advice how to take care of soft top from birdshit or color fading?

Any recommendation on the product to use?

i can only share with what i've been doing 

 

so far two cabriolets on, seems to work 

 

NEVER soap - worried about residue or fading if soap too strong 

 

I just use a hose liberally to hose it down 

 

If kena birdshit, i use a mild baby shampoo and a super soft tooth brush to clear the stains 

 

circular sideways motion, not downward 

 

those soft horse hair coat brush make for good devices to brush away dust etc 

 

other than that nothing 

 

the fabric of soft tops are generally quite hardy 

 

esp the merc ones

aside from the above i go to a groomer 

 

they spray some waterproofing layer on it 

 

but that's about it
