hi everyone,

I am new to this forum and i would like to ask for some advice from current SLK drivers. I hope to get a 2 year old SLK mid of next year. i think the price for a 2 year old is ard 130k. Would like to find out how is the fuel comsumption of SLK 200 if you drive 90% urban and how much is the insurance roughly for a 29 year old with 3 years driving exp plus how is the maintance like... thank you everyone! i really love the car and i dun want to get something above 2 L coz its a waste..

My advice..... Go for a Brand new FL SLK.

Solid 3 years wty, if out of budget, go check out PI, First Automobile might be a good choice. :thumbsup:

thank you for your advice bro! i will go check out C&C. the main reason i dont want to get a new car or new any car is coz first 2 years dep too much.... its just not a good move. ;D

Hi,

I was like you loving the SLK. I have been looking around for 2nd hand perhaps for about 6 months. Also, i tabulated a list of the selling price of different yrs and models. In the end i got a Sep 08 C & C SLK with only 1000 km. Bought in the region of 160+. Not sure whether is a gd deal. But I am loving the ride every moment. Hope you find a good buy in this trying times. Cheers
