W221 Squeaky Noise

Recommended Posts

I just wanted to share my recent experience.

I had this irritating and embarrassing squeaky noise about 3 weeks ago and I immediately sent my car to C&C Pandan Loop.

The SA and his mechanic confirmed that the Front Right Upper and Lower arms were spoilt. Upon collection of my car, the SA confirmed numerous times that the other parts are intact and there is no sign of wearing out though I believe they merely did a visual inspection.

5 days ago, the squeaky sound returned and the same SA said that this is impossible. After several frustrating conversations with him, I decided to ask another workshop to dismantle my Front Left Upper and Lower arms as well as the Trust Arms.

It turned out that the rubber bushings (were torn) and the ball joints (were badly jammed) were spoilt.

I told the SA and he merely said that these parts were working well when C&C inspected them 3 weeks ago….. I gave up.
