Is our 17" stock rim heavy?

Hi all,

 

Just to check is all our stock 17" inch very heavy? What is the actual weight? I am contemplating to change to 18" taiwan rim in the leong seng shop. Would the 18" taiwan rim lighter than the stock 17" rim? Thanks 

I traded in my stock 16 with RFT to a tyre shop for 18" AMG with RFT. IIRC, my 16" was about 19kg (with RFT) and 18" was about 22kg (with RFT). I think rims is one factor. The tyre you choose will also affect the overall weight.

I may be slow, but I'll see you in a bit - at the next traffic light.
