MBM Wheelpower - bad experience

Recommended Posts

Bro, just post once will do. Dun spam with same post. Thx

I think that as forum admins, you guys have to do your part to remove companies with bad reviews from being forum sponsors even if they have paid to be one

else more people will be lead into thinking they provide good services

Please note that all sponsors are vetted before they sign onto SGMerc as a site sponsor to ensure that they are a legitimate, proper businesses. You will also notice that all sponsors on SGMerc have a stellar reputation both here in the forums as well as locally.

MBM is also one of the largest workshops in Singapore and service a wide range of vehicles. It is inevitable that on rare occasions, there will be lapses, mistakes, and customers being unsatisfied. However, to judge them base on a single isolated incident would not be fair, bearing in mind that might be thousands of other positive reviews that don't make it to the forum.

Within 24 hours of your posting, the folks at MBM has contact the admin team asking for more information and potential ways to contact you. They have committed that they will investigate the incident and let us know further. I ask that you give them some time to look into the matter and get back to both you and us.

MBM has been a SGMerc site sponsor for 3 years and in this time the number of complains are minimal (less than 3?). I think this speaks loads about their service and quality of work, seeing how they service probably thousands of vehicles every year.

That being said, if there are excessive complains and/or a site sponsor is found to be of sub-par quality, the sponsor will be removed.

I urge all to understand the full picture and story before making wild guesses.

@hpy090909, if you want to discuss this further, please feel free to PM me.

Thanks.

Dear Admin

You can defend them all you want, my post was a SUGGESTION if you want to go on a full on defensive mode on their behalf...nothing we users can do

they still need to find ways to contact me ? they obviously already know who i am and  have my number ....but in anyways ...there might be thousands of negative reviews that dont make it to the forum as well

examples include ( from just one forum)

bro hpy090909. sori to hear your bad experience.

Not disagreeing with you but I think we the forum users should probably not really expect the admin to have extensive QC for sponsors. There is economics afterall - i.e. we can expect the site will need sponsor's financial support.

But I understand how you feel, like i did when i initially started this thread. Immediately there were questions which throws doubt on whether if it was my own fault or ignorance which caused the initial battery issue. And subsequent suggestions that no follow up means settled (?). Pretty obvious where the partiality lies.

I just take it as natural and tell myself just be careful when reading reviews. I certainly know what transpired for my incident. So I will share such that others can make an informed choice but i won't spend unnecessary time to push a case cos its only a waste of my time - unless one is prepared to go to the courts. Hence only this response like a year later.

Just FYI. That lousy battery which was installed conked out. Am on hoppecke now.
