RClass Power Tailgate Advice

Hi, I'm experiencing some problems with my 2011 facelift R300L power tailgate. Probably close 2-3 out of 5 attempts, quite intermittent. Motorized latch lock seems working well with no plastic gear grinding sound. Noticed it closes 100% well when I give a little pull on the lever towards myself, just before tailgate is about to latch onto hook.

What could be the problem? Any workshops to recommend to recalibrate or fix it?
