Proposal:

6 March leave sg - about 10pm

Reach Cameron at 6am or earlier.

Day2 and 3 we go for R&R and some tours..

Day 4 drive back to sg , leave Cameron after breakfast.

The world Most dangerous thing is the Vehicle. Its not about the machine weather its slow or fast. Its the person who is controlling it. The driver is the brain of the Machine. Not the machine itself.

If the driver reacts slow even the most powerful ABS(Auto braking system) will not help. The driver has to give the car the command in Order for the car to react. Afterall he is the brain of the car.

Ok We will book 1 whole bungalow , at Cameron highland. Looking for at least 10 cars and we go. We will try to secure a good rate.

 

Things needed.

1. Mercedes Car

2. Walkie Talkie Tuned to SGMerc Frequency.

3. RM

4. Touch and go / Smart Tag

Just a suggestion , can change to earlier or later timing. Maybe even sat morning

That we need to further discuss. I think 6am we hit tuas out , should reach there about 5 or 6.

 

My last trip took me 7hrs. w/o stop. so I gauge with 2 meal break and 4 toilet break , 12 hrs should be more than enough

My 7hrs was during Cny.

Oh ya my 12 hours gauge was with toilet + food breaks. 1 breakfast + lunch + go see attraction

And many cars esp In the convoy u do not want the convoy to break up. Thus we have to match everyone speed

nice interest gathering thread.. day or night drive, safety is the biggest concern.. drivers should have enough rest before a long drive..

Agree with Martin, up or down hill in the day is definitely safer.

 

btw i think 12hrs really can hit thailand.. 100km/hr x 12 = 1200km..

usually during long drives, the petrol toilet or meal breaks are short.. to cut down road time and less tiring.

Chris. Yup day time could be safer , but after thinking since we need a whole lots of planning we need to KIV this trip
