Malfunction Sign light up

Hi,

I got a 2006 S class with the malfunction sign light up anyone can advise what happened?

shld be some engine fault...

It can be anything, just pop your car to your usual workshop to get it checked

I got my problem solved by just replacing a small valve/seal from the air reservoir tank.

 

It could also mean a few things:

 

1. Weak air compressor

2. Leaky valve block

3. Leaky airmatic pipes/hoses

 

"Malfunction" refers to air in the system takes longer than usual to fill up. So it usually corresponds to the leaks somewhere.
