My review on DTE chip on my c180cgi 1.6l(part1 low range rpm)

My little opinion and sharing session on this DTE chip installed on my ride.

Day 1-2

To be frank. Not a big difference I must say. Car still feels like its requiring more throttle to move off as of any stock set up.

Day 3-4

Felt like a slight different higher surge even on same rpm range from move off. Means that with the chip I felt the car surge better at same rpm compared to previously without this chip. Still hoping for better gains if allowed.

Day 4

Very obvious pull I got from low range. Almost every boost I got from throttle is is noticeable better than previously. Note that this is base on the same rpm with and without the chip.

Day 5-6

Like on steriods. Car just keep feeling like it's in is power band through out the journey. Pulls and pulls. Not high revved yet keeps pulling. Thats what I like.

Havent tried in higher rpms yet. Hope to put that in part 2 of my review soon during the weekends.

Its a piggyback bro.

As advise by installer, the ecu of our stock car will need some time to adjust to the new so call "feeding" from the piggyback installed. As for reprogram of stock ecu, im still not comfortable with that idea currently. As my car still has warranty.
