Merc-Newbie w/o spare tyre!

Hi Guys!!

Just bought a CLA200.

 

Does anyone know if the new car is supposed to come with a spare tyre in the boot? 

Bought from C&C and during collection, i noticed the spare tyre is missing!

 

Argued with the salesperson but he insisted CLA doesn't "need" spare tyres. I thought this is the basic of the most basics and never been this surprised before.

 

Pls advise!

Yes, the CLA does not come with a spare tyre. There's an emergency pump in the boot when you need to pump up the tyres.

Frankly speaking, I've experienced a bad incident with regards to the missing spare tyre issue of the CLAs when I was traveling in Italy. If I ever bought the car in SG, first thing I'd do is to go get a spare at the tyre shop.

Bro if im not wrong CLA is on RFT (run flat tires) so it doesn't require a spare tire.

The tyres provided when I rented the car in Italy sure wasn't run flat!
