why you want to make so much noise? want good sound, get a good exhaust system, or a good ICE. :tazzie:

I have the AMG exhaust...but still find it too soft... I am not that keen in ICE....prefer enginer and exhaust sound...

I have the AMG exhaust...but still find it too soft... I am not that keen in ICE....prefer enginer and exhaust sound...

After de-cad, add header but still no shiok, you can mod your silencer too(provided you dont feel heart pain on your AMG), most Exos shop know how to do.

Louder exos meaning more vibration. :banghead:

I dont think so it will give more go,just louder bassy sound but like sarave say, it sound like you going very fast with the noise..... :la:

De-catting kills the environment man! Kena inspection = pay fine, I believe it's 500 for the first time. There's a certain modification that you can do whereby you can install this button that allows you to kinda bypass the mufflers and make your exhaust REALLY LOUD after you push it but if you push it again, it will go back to being normal and quiet. I'm not sure exactly how it works, but some of our members and I have this in one of our cars and it's completely street legal. PM me if you want more details, can show you first hand how it works.

I have changed the manifold to kleemann header, remove the 2nd catalytic converter and modify the amg muffler(remove the rockwool within and change the pipe slightly bigger.

fast and loud. just that when i floor the accelerator, lots of smoke man >

This is taken from the MKB website. Anyone here tried? From 231 to 260 with ECU tuning alone? Dun knw whether to trust or not. But if it is true..its worth a try..but price not cheap...

SLK 280 - M 272 3,0 l - 4V

Increase in performance 191 kW (260 HP) at 6500 rpm, 330 Nm at 2500-5200 rpm

modification:

Modified engine management system with readapt ignition map and

injection map.

Increase in performance to 206 kW (280 HP) at 6500 rpm, 345 Nm at 2500-5200 rpm

modification: high performance camshafts with valve springs,

exhaust manifold s/s, sports air filters, adaptation of ECU

I think is possible .....Of cos with the right tuner.

Just like C63AMG and CL63AMG are having the same engine.....how can the hp so much higner for CL.

I dont think anyone actually did a test.....

Why dont you give MBM a call and ask them when is that 'angmo' from kleemann coming again, maybe he can help.
