Selling a BRAND NEW iPhone 5s, 64GB and Gold in colour. Please note that this is a 1 to 1 exchange set from Singtel which was just changed on 19 May 2014. Hence the imei of the phone and the imei on the box will not match. However, phone has never been used nor activated. The original phone was purchased in February 27 2014. Hence the phone still has more than 7 months of warranty left.

Please note that the phone is brand new and I will provide the receipt from Singtel as proof of the exchange to the buyer. The price is STRICTLY NON-NEGOTIABLE. Messages and calls asking for lower prices will go ignored. Please note that the buyer will be getting the full sales package which includes the cable, headset (totally unused), phone (totally unused), box and all documentation.

Deals to be strictly Cash on Delivery. Deals to be done in Dover, Bukit Timah or any place to the seller's convenience.

Fixed Price is SGD 1000. Interested parties please contact 85883113.

Firstly 64GB iPhone 5S regardless of colour or if it's a recon phone, you're asking for $1100? Do you know if you top up just $188 more, you can get a BNIB iPhone? Plus with the new iPhone 6 announcement just 2 months away, it seems like quite a hefty asking price.

Secondly as many have stated, once you send your original iPhone in, the telco will definitely return you with a recon phone. This info can be verified all over the web.

Thirdly, it's not like the iPhone 5S is highly in demand right now. During the initial launch, yes you can ask for exuberant prices like $3000 for a 16GB Gold model and there will be buyers. But one year on, I highly doubt so.

Lastly, although you still have your original box, if you bring your set to a second hand dealer, they will tell you that the IMEI does not match. You yourself already know that. As far as I know, it does affect the resale value of the phone as it is being sold without the box it came in.

Personally, if I for whatever reason, 2 months ahead of the new iPhone announcement still want to buy an iPhone 5S, I would rather pay an additional $188 more and get a BNIB set from Apple with the full 12 months warranty.

I'd suggest that you at least allow some negotiation on the price if you really want to sell the phone.
