E Coupe Parking Sensor No Sound

Hi I'm new to the Merc world, recently gotten a pre own E200 Coupe that came with original parking sensors.  I noticed the sensors are working as the lights on the indicator is working but there is no beep sound even it is very near the object.

 

May I know is it faulty or there are some settings to it.

the sound only appears when U are really close and the sensors goes to the RED range...other than that.... nothing.... BUt...eventually you will hear something.. even if the sound warning fail... you'

Actually I don't find the beeping sound attractive or necessary at all. When reversing the reverse camera screen comes on, most of the time I've successfully parked my car even before any beep happens

Ahhh, this is fxxxup,  I'm used to the beep beep.  Sooner or later sure will hear the other sound. lol..

If so near then beep might as well don't beep..

Merc is an elegant car… it doesn't make excessive noise when it doesn't have to. No noise when driving, no noise when reverse and no noise when locking the car. :)

The world Most dangerous thing is the Vehicle. Its not about the machine weather its slow or fast. Its the person who is controlling it. The driver is the brain of the Machine. Not the machine itself.

If the driver reacts slow even the most powerful ABS(Auto braking system) will not help. The driver has to give the car the command in Order for the car to react. Afterall he is the brain of the car.

On my SUV (I think) it beeps but because I'm so used to Merc I don't think I hear it beep. But then again, maybe I'm deaf.
